We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Estimator to join our growing team at Patterson Building Group, based in Mascot, NSW.

In this full-time role, you will play a key part in our construction operations, preparing accurate and comprehensive cost estimates across a diverse range of projects.

What you'll be doing

- Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labour, and equipment requirements
- Analyse project specifications, drawings, and other relevant documents to identify all cost components
- Collaborate with project managers and subcontractors to obtain accurate pricing information
- Participate in the bidding and tendering process, ensuring that our proposals are competitive and profitable
- Continuously research and stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and changes in material and labour costs
- Provide support and guidance to the project team throughout the construction process

What we're looking for

- Extensive experience (5+ years) as an Estimator in the construction industry
- Thorough understanding of construction materials, methods, and cost estimation principles




- Proficiency in using construction estimating software and spreadsheet applications
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under tight deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients, subcontractors, and the project team
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in construction management, quantity surveying, or a related field
