I'm working with a Top 20 professional services firm in Brisbane looking for an experienced Audit Senior who wants greater responsibility, stronger client exposure and a genuine pathway towards Manager.

You'll join an established Audit & Assurance team working across a diverse portfolio of quality clients, with direct exposure to experienced Managers, Directors and Partners.

The opportunity

You'll work across:

- ASX-listed and large private businesses
- Family groups and privately owned businesses
- Growing Australian businesses
- Complex and varied audit engagements

Your responsibilities will include:

- Planning and leading external audit engagements
- Managing audit fieldwork through to completion
- Preparing and reviewing financial statements and audit documentation
- Identifying risks and resolving audit and accounting issues
- Building strong relationships with clients
- Working closely with Managers, Directors and Partners
- Reviewing work and supporting junior team members
- Exposure to complex accounting and reporting matters

About you





You'll ideally have:

- 3+ years' external audit experience within Australian public practice
- CA/CPA qualified or currently completing
- Experience within Big 4, mid-tier or a reputable boutique firm
- Strong understanding of Australian Accounting and Auditing Standards
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ambition to continue progressing your career
