About the role

At AGL, we're helping shape Australia's energy future and are looking for an experienced maintenance leader to join our Hydro team in Mount Beauty NSW. Reporting to the Hydro Maintenance Manager, you'll lead a multi-disciplinary team responsible for delivering safe, reliable and effective maintenance, operational and project activities across AGL's hydro generation assets.

This is a hands-on leadership role, where you'll oversee maintenance programs, outages, capital works and continuous improvement initiatives while building team capability, driving a strong safety culture and ensuring the ongoing performance of critical infrastructure that powers Australian communities

WhatYou Will Be Doing

- Lead,coachand develop maintenance and operational teams across NSW hydro assets.
- Coordinate maintenance programs, outages, breakdown responseactivitiesand project delivery.
- Manage contractors, resources,budgetsand work schedules to achieve operationalobjectives.
- Drive a proactive safety culture and ensure compliance with HSE requirements.
- Collaborate with engineering, planning,operationsand stakeholder teams to improve asset performance and reliability.

WhatYou Will Bring

- A trade qualification or engineering qualification,



with experience in power generation,utilitiesor heavy industrial environments.
- Demonstrated success leading multi-disciplinary maintenance,operationsor field-based teams.
- Strong maintenance planning, contractormanagementand project delivery experience.
- A commitment to safety leadership and continuous improvement.
- Well-developed problem‑solving, stakeholdermanagementand communication skills.
- Experience using SAP ora similarCMMS will be highly regarded.
