Your Position:
As the Digital Experience Officer,
you will serve as ouradvocate for digital literacy, empowering the Burwood community to becomeinformed and confident digital citizens. Your enthusiasm for enhancing people'sdigital skills will drive the creation of diverse experiences tailored to meetcommunity needs.
Your responsibilities will include, but not be limitedto:
- Thedevelopment and delivery of digital experiences and digital literacyprograms and activities.
- Promotionand communication of resources and services to an online audience viasocial media, eNewsletter, digital screens and library website.
- Collaboratingwith the Library and Community Hub team to ensure delivery of high-qualitycustomer experiences through outstanding customer service, information andadvice regarding the Burwood Library and Community Hub services, programs,activities and events.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- CertificateIV in Library & Information Services, Customer Service or a relateddiscipline with contemporary experience in a similar role; or significantrelevant working experience in a similar role.
- Demonstratedunderstanding and commitment to providing excellence in customer service.
- Superiorcommunication and interpersonal skills including verbal, written, trainingand presentation skills.
- Demonstratedproficiency and confidence in existing digital technologies, includingsocial media.
- Abilityto support team members and customers in the use of new-to-themtechnologies.
- Awarenessof digital library resources.
Key Requirements:
- Acurrent Working with Children Check clearance
- Willingnessto complete a pre-employment health assessment.
- Willingnessto obtain a national police check
- Health& Well-being initiatives (flu vaccinations, skin checks).
- Accessto Employee Assistance Program (EAP).
