Outkast is a growing Design & Construction company delivering commercial office fit-outs, refurbishments, asset repositioning projects and construction works across Queensland.
We're looking for an experienced Senior Estimator / Pre-Construction Manager who can take ownership of our tendering and pre-construction function.
Responsibilities
- Data entry into and management of our project management software;
- Establishment of projects and development of Bill of Quantities;
- Review and negotiate Subcontractor and Suppliers contracts in consultation with the Operation and Project Managers;
- Administer live subcontracts and supply agreements in consultation with Contracts Administrator, Operations Manager and Project Managers;
- Manage Subcontract progress claims and variations.
Qualifications/ Experience
- Degree or equivalent experience in Business;
- Experience in a similar position in an Australian Design & Construction environment with a minimum of three (3) years experience;
- Permanent resident status required for this position.
- Ability to manage both head and subcontracts.
- Experience managing all three contract types including head contracts, subcontracts, and supply agreements.
- Proven experience in the administration & management of contracts & contractors
- Minimum of 3+ years extensive experience in contract management is essential.
- Highly numerate – can see trends and pin point reporting errors rapidly
- Accurate and attentive to detail
- Solid analytical and problem solving skills
- Highly effective written and oral communications skills.
- Strong relationship building and negotiating skills.
