We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Finance Administrator/Bookkeeper to join our growing team in Geelong. Reporting to the Director/Owner of the company, you will manage all financial aspects of the various businesses including debtors, creditors, quotes and general office administration
Key responsibilities
- All financial aspects of the various businesses including debtors, creditors, quotes and general office administration
- Bank Reconciliations
- IAS & BAS lodgment
- End to end Payroll, PAYG, Superannuation, Workcover, Payroll Tax and administration of EBA and industry entitlements
- Construction compliance with CM3, Hammertec, Rapid, Avetta and other platforms
- HR administration
About you
- Experienced in the financial aspects of a small to medium sized business
- Highly organized, self starter with strong communication and good problem solving skills
- Able to switch between tasks depending on priorities while maintaining excellent attention to detail
- Flexible and able to adapt to a changing work environment
- Demonstrated experience processing payroll and interpreting modern awards
- Excellent bookkeeping skills (minimum 3 years' experience with MYOB preferred)
- Solid understanding of payroll and compliance processes (strong knowledge of CFMEU pay rates and employment conditions highly regarded)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Experience with construction contractor compliance systems
- Cert IV Bookkeeping or equivalent highly regarded
