About the Role

Yumbah Mussels is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Multivac Forming Machine Operator to join our production team in Port Lincoln.

This hands-on role is responsible for operating and monitoring our Multivac packaging equipment to ensure products are packed safely, correctly and efficiently.

Ideally, the successful candidate will have experience operating production machinery in a similar environment, and training will be provided for the right person.

Key responsibilities

- Set up, operate and monitor the Multivac forming machine.
- Load packaging film and complete product changeovers.
- Check seals, labels, weights and overall pack quality.
- Adjust machine settings to maintain production requirements.
- Identify and report equipment faults or product issues.




- Complete production and quality records accurately.
- Clean and sanitise equipment and the surrounding work area.
- Follow food safety, quality and workplace safety procedures.
- Assist with general production duties when required.

About you

- Previous experience operating packaging or food production machinery is preferred.
- Multivac or thermoforming machine experience would be an advantage.
- Good mechanical awareness and basic troubleshooting skills.
- Able to work accurately in a fast-paced production environment.
- Reliable, punctual and comfortable working as part of a team.
- Good understanding of workplace safety and hygiene requirements.
- Able to perform physical work, including standing for extended periods and lifting.
