Location: Sydney, NSW, Australia Experience: 5+ Years About the Role We are seeking an experienced Platform Engineer with solid expertise in SAS Viya, Azure Cloud, Kubernetes, and DevSecOps to support and enhance enterprise analytics platforms. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing SAS environments, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and platform automation while ensuring high availability, security, and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Install, configure, administer, and maintain SAS Viya 4 and SAS 9.4 platforms. Plan and execute migrations from SAS 9.4 to SAS Viya 4 . Apply patches, upgrades, and hotfixes with minimal service disruption. Manage and support Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and containerized environments. Build and maintain DevSecOps and CI/CD pipelines using Terraform, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Bitbucket, and JFrog Artifactory . Automate deployments and integrate with Snowflake and enterprise data platforms. Troubleshoot platform, infrastructure, and application issues across SAS environments. Implement security, governance, RBAC, authentication, and identity integrations (OIDC, SAML, LDAP, Entra ID, SCIM). Integrate SAS Viya with enterprise systems, scheduling tools, and cloud services.



Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile environments to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable platform solutions. Required Skills Strong experience with SAS Viya 4 and SAS 9.4 administration. Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) . Experience with Terraform, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Bitbucket, and JFrog Artifactory . Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, Linux/Unix , and microservices architecture. Experience with Snowflake , SAS Viya CLI & APIs , and Azure services including ADLS Gen2, Azure NetApp Files, Azure PostgreSQL Flexible Server, and Azure File Premium . Experience with identity and access management, including RBAC, OIDC, SAML, LDAP, Entra ID, and SailPoint . Familiarity with scheduling tools such as Control-M and LSF . Understanding of Azure networking, cloud security, compliance, and DevSecOps best practices. Experience working in Agile environments using Jira and Confluence . Preferred Experience supporting large enterprise environments. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. Passion for platform engineering, automation, and continuous improvement.
