Aluminium fabrication is seeking a skilled and experienced Boiler Maker to join our growing team in Arundel, Gold Coast Queensland. As a Boiler Maker, you will play a vital role in the fabrication and assembly of high-quality pontoons / gangways and related marine equipment. This is a casual/ full time position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work on a variety of projects with flexible hours.
What you'll be doing
Operate a range of metalworking equipment such as welding machines, grinders, shears and presses to cut, shape, and join metal components
Perform routine maintenance and quality checks on tools and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation
Work closely with the production team to meet deadlines and ensure the timely delivery of custom-built orders
Adhere to all relevant safety standards and environmental regulations throughout the fabrication process
What we're looking for
Relevant trade qualification or equivalent experience as a Boiler Maker
Proven ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
Proficient in the use of welding, cutting, and other metalworking equipment
Solid attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet production targets
Assist in product on site installation
Assist in the pour of some concrete (1hr p/w)
