The Opportunity

We are seeking an Intermediate/Senior Accountant to join our modern office in Barangaroo.

In this role, you will:

Work for one of the fastest growing CA firm in Australia

Deliverstrategic advicealongside compliance

Work directly with Partners and contribute to firm-wide initiatives

You’ll have autonomy, leadership exposure, and a clear progression pathway- including potentialpathway to leadership opportunities andinternational secondmentsto our UK and NZ offices, as we grow.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, while managing accurate and timely month-end and year-end close processes.

Perform general ledger and balance sheet reconciliations, investigating and resolving discrepancies as required.

Preparation of annual compliance work for high net-worth individuals, trusts, companies and SMSF.

Prepare and review of BAS, IAS, FBT, CGT and PAYG for a variety of companies and trusts

Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities, and provide financial analysis and insights to management.

Ensure compliance with accounting standards,



tax regulations, and internal controls.

Coordinate external audits and liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies.

Mentor and support junior accounting team members.

Assist with system implementations, upgrades, and finance-related projects.

What We’re Looking For

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

CA, CPA, or equivalent professional qualification (or willing to commence).

Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in a Chartered Accounting firm

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirements.

Confident in client-facing roles with excellent communication skills

Ambitious and motivated forcareer progression

Must have full working rights to work in Australia
