For the Commercial Lawyer Ready to Make an Immediate Impact

This is an in-house Counsel opportunity for an experienced commercial lawyer who enjoys variety, autonomy and partnering with a business that is ambitious, growing and constantly evolving.

The team plays a key role in supporting business growth, managing risk and helping deliver strategic outcomes.

The Team

The legal team is cohesive, highly regarded and growing. Reporting to the Head of Legal, they are seeking a lawyer who thrives in a fast-moving environment and can confidently lead matters across commercial, governance and property-related work.

You'll quickly establish yourself as a trusted adviser to stakeholders across the business, providing pragmatic, solutions-focused advice and managing matters with a high degree of autonomy. Every member of the team is involved in strategic projects, business-as-usual operations,



governance matters and key organisational initiatives. It's a busy team doing genuinely interesting and varied work.

The Work Itself

Working closely with stakeholders across the organisation, you'll advise on a broad range of commercial, strategic and operational matters.

This role is well suited to a lawyer who enjoys taking ownership, exercising sound judgement and operating with minimal supervision while remaining part of a collaborative and supportive legal team.

Depending on your experience and interests, matters may include:

- Major commercial contracting and negotiations
- Strategic projects and growth initiatives
- Mergers and acquisitions
- Property, leasing and development matters
- Procurement and supplier arrangements
- Data governance and technology projects
- Regulatory and compliance advice
- Corporate governance and company secretariat support
- Enterprise risk management initiatives

You'll also have exposure to the organisation's global property portfolio, including construction-related matters. You'll take the lead on your matters while working closely with colleagues across both the legal team and the broader business.

Sound Like You?

You are an accomplished commercial lawyer with 7+ years' post-admission experience and robust experience in commercial contracting and stakeholder engagement. Exposure to property law is a plus but not essential and by no means a focus of your day to day. You are commercially astute, pragmatic and confident in your judgement. Comfortable operating as the lead lawyer on your matters, you bring the credibility, maturity and practical approach required to partner effectively with stakeholders and deliver solutions in a dynamic and growing organisation.
