The Role
ABC Mid North Coast is looking fora Radio Presenterfor ourSaturday Breakfastshow. You wouldbe the voice that starts the weekend for local audiences. Working as part of a collaborative regional news and content team,you'llpresent a lively and engaging breakfast program that informs,entertainsand connects communities across the region.
This is a hands-on role whereyou'llsource and develop local stories, build strong community connections, conduct interviews, and create content across multiple platforms to ensure audiencesremaininformed and engaged.

The Job
- Present and produce ABC Mid North Coast's Saturday Breakfast program.
- Source,researchand develop compelling local stories and interview opportunities.
- Deliver engaging live and pre-recorded content for radio and digital audiences.
- Build andmaintainstrong relationships with community groups,stakeholdersand local contacts.
- Contribute content across ABC platforms and support local emergency broadcasting whenrequired.
- Be available to present Saturday Breakfast from6:30am to 10:30am,with opportunities to be called on to support other programs and shifts asrequired.
- Work afour-hour preparation shiftto gather content and arrangelive interviewsfor the Saturday breakfast show.

About You
You thrive in a live environment, enjoy connecting with people, and have a passion for telling stories that reflect the diversity of Australian communities.
You'llhave:
- Experience presenting and producing radio or audio content, with robust on-air communication skills.
- Demonstrated editorial judgement and the ability toidentify,researchand develop compelling local stories.
- Strong interviewing and relationship-building skills, with an ability to engage diverse communities.
- A current and valid driver's licence.
