Project Coordinator - Enterprise Portfolio Group
Role type: Fixed term for 12 months, Department: Enterprise Performance Group; Chief Operating Officer Portfolio. Salary: UoM 7 - $109,093 - $118,091 p.a. plus 17% super. Influence university-wide initiatives. Collaborate with diverse project teams. Shape student and staff experience.
Your responsibilities
- Project Support: Contribute to the design, implementation, and evaluation of key projects within the EPG portfolio.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Develop cooperative relationships with internal stakeholders and support their contributions to projects.
- Resource Development: Prepare high-quality project materials and become a subject‑matter expert in project areas.
- Governance Support: Provide secretariat support to project working groups, including producing reports and following up on action items.
- Risk Management: Identify project risks, elevate to Initiative Leads, and support mitigation strategies.
What you bring
- You are a proactive and adaptable professional with project coordination experience, possessing excellent communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders in a complex university environment.
- Hold a bachelor's degree with relevant project coordination experience (minimum 1 year).
- Demonstrate knowledge of project management, preferably in higher education or public sector settings.
- Show excellent writing skills adaptable to various purposes and audiences.
- Possess strong problem‑solving abilities and creative thinking skills.
- Have experience in stakeholder engagement and collaborative work environments.
- Exhibit good judgment and the ability to anticipate project and stakeholder needs.
- Demonstrate strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Have experience working in tertiary education to improve student and/or staff experience (desirable).
- Be familiar with project management methodologies and tools like Smartsheet (desirable).
- Hold a qualification in project management (desirable).

This role requires the successful candidate to maintain a Working with Children Check. The successful candidate can apply for the WWCC as part of the onboarding process.
