About the role
As a Rehabilitation Consultant at IPAR, you'll work across a diverse range of schemes including Workers Compensation, CTP, Life Insurance, Comcare, Department of Veterans' Affairs and employer-funded programs. You'll help clients with physical and psychological conditions achieve sustainable health, wellbeing and return-to-work outcomes. You'll be supported by an experienced multidisciplinary team including Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Exercise Physiologists, Psychologists and Rehabilitation Counsellors who are passionate about making a genuine difference.
Key responsibilities
Manage a manageable caseload with support from Rehabilitation Assistants
Apply your clinical expertise to improve return-to-work outcomes
Partner with employers and employees to deliver injury prevention and workplace education programs
Collaborate with injured workers, employers, insurers, and healthcare professionals
Conduct initial assessments, workplace assessments, Functional Capacity Evaluations,
Activities of Daily Living (ADL) assessments, and vocational assessments
Identify barriers and implement practical solutions that support recovery and independence

About you
Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, or Exercise Physiology
General registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), or
Accredited with Exercise & Sports Science Australia (ESSA) with accreditation aligned to SIRA requirements for workplace and functional capacity assessments
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
A genuine passion for helping others achieve positive outcomes
Empathy, resilience, and a client-centred approach
Excellent time management and organisational skills
Previous experience in occupational rehabilitation (desirable, not essential)
A current NSW Driver's Licence and access to a comprehensively insured vehicle
