The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced and qualified Early Childhood Educator (Diploma Qualified) / Teacher (working towards)



to join our beautiful service as a Lead Educator of our Preschool Room. Be part of Chilverleigh as it sets a benchmark for high quality education and care programs to children aged zero to school age.

The Role

Permanent part/full-time position (4 days - 26/38 hours)

Motivate and lead a team of educators in the Preschool room who have passion and dedication.

Develop a lifelong love of learning through child-led enquiries, connections to our local primary school and positive experiences within our community.

Design, implement and evaluate educational programs for our children, allowing for the unique and individual interests and strengths of each child.

Support the centre to Meet/Exceed the National Quality Standards

About You

If you have a genuine passion for working with children aged 0-5 years old, have completed a Diploma in Children's Services / and/or working towards Bachelor in Teaching or Early Childhood Education, and if you are extremely confident with the EYLF and NQF then this is the role for you.

- A Diploma in Children's Services (Non-Negotiable)
- Has minimum 5 years experience in a Lead Role (Preschool aged group)
- A current Working with Children’s Check
- A good understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
- A current First Aid,



CPR & Asthma and Anaphylaxis training
- Child Safe Training Certificate
- Child Protection Training Certificate – with a current refresher certificate
- Food Handlers Certificate

- Ability to provide high quality, innovative programs
- A calm and nurturing nature and a commitment to best practice
- Extensive, practical working knowledge and implementation of the National Quality Framework and the Early Years Learning Framework

- Passion for early childhood education
- Ability to work in a team-based approach
