An excellent opportunity has arisen for a construction lawyer to join the Brisbane office of a highly regarded national law firm and work within a busy, established Construction & Infrastructure practice.
The team acts for a strong client base of major developers, contractors, government and infrastructure clients and offers high-quality work, significant client contact and genuine responsibility from an early stage.
You will work closely with a leading construction Partner in a close-knit team, with strong mentoring and a explicit pathway for progression.
The Role
The role will focus predominantly oncontentious construction matters, while also giving you exposure to front-end construction work.
Your matters will include complex construction disputes and litigation arising from major projects, alongside the drafting and negotiation of construction, procurement and building contracts.
This is a strong opportunity for a junior construction lawyer who wants exposure to both sides of the practice while developing deeper expertise in construction disputes.
About You
You will ideally have1–4 years’ PAEgained within a reputable top-tier,
mid-tier or specialist construction practice, with experience in construction disputes and/or front-end construction matters.
The Partner is also open to considering lawyers with strong litigation experience and a genuine interest in developing a career in construction law.
You will have:
