SUPERVISION EXERCISED: Supervision of Quality Assurance Coordinator /Human Rights Coordinator

SUPERVISION RECEIVED: Chief Operating Officer

COMPENSATION CLASSIFICATION: Exempt, Salary

Responsibilities

- Provide oversight, training and supervision to the quality assurance coordinate/human rights coordinator regarding quality management, licensing and accreditation standards to ensure adherence to DDS, federal and state quality regulations.
- Conduct in office reviews of programs to ensure quality services and licensing standards are met.
- Oversee the HCSIS system and ensure all reports are well written, accurate and submitted in a timely manner.
- Notify Human Resources in case employee action is needed.
- Conduct internal investigations, ensure protocols are followed and identify any problem areas. Report problem areas to the Director of Program Services and ensure a plan is developed and implemented, as necessary.
- Oversee the Human Rights Coordinator to ensure all regulatory standards are met.
- Review and identify any quality control systems issues problems with process/procedures. Report any concerns to the director of program services and work in conjunction to rectify issues.
- Track certification, mandatory, and annual trainings and ensure trainings are complete and timely for all staff to ensure regulatory compliance and in conjunction with the Training Specialist.
- Upholds the values and culture of PBS while ensuring that PBS interventions are implemented with integrity.
- Work in conjunction with the Senior Management Team on establishing and maintaining systems including referrals,



future program development.

Qualifications

BS/BA and a minimum of 5 years related work experience.

Strong knowledge of DDS regulations, licensing and survey and certification.

Ability to develop, implement and maintain quality systems and processes

Prior group training experience regarding quality standards and regulations.

Knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local regulations and policies regarding human services and quality assurance systems and regulations.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel and Outlook and/or Google email

Strong problem-solving skills and independent judgement skills to analyze information, formulate recommendations and evaluate processes and procedures for quality compliance

Excellent Verbal, Written And Interpersonal Skills Required

Ability to maintain effective working relationship with employers, employees, state agencies and the general public

Comfortable engaging with all levels of management

Ability to work as a member of a team in a positive and productive manner

Successful check of CORI, DPPC Abuser Registry, Driving Record and Fingerprinting

Performs any other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands

Position will require moderate sitting, standing, walking, and occasional driving to run errands. On a weekly basis, the approximate standards include the following and are dependent on required workload:

- Sitting 65%
- Standing/Walking: 25% or more
- Lifting: 1% or more
- Twist/Turn/Squat: 5% or more
- Forearm Rotation: 4% or more
- Transportation: Only as needed depending on responsibilities
