- This team currently works full time hours over 4 days/week - Tuesday to Friday 6:00am to 4:00pm. 12 month trial.
- $75,234 pa (ie. $38.07/hour) - incl. industry and uniform allowance + 12% super (level 4)
- Location: Narangba
Work as part of Council's civil maintenance team carrying out concrete works, repairs and general labouring activities across a range of infrastructure maintenance projects.
This hands on role supports the maintenance and improvement of Council's civil infrastructure assets, helping ensure they remain safe, functional and fit for purpose for the community.
What you’ll be doing:
- carrying out concrete works, repairs and general labouring duties across a range of small projects
- working efficiently as part of a crew and independently when required
- supporting teams across the region to deliver maintenance and construction activities
- using and maintaining tools, equipment and PPE in accordance with safety requirements
- following safe work practices and contributing to a positive safety culture
About you
You have experience undertaking concrete works and are confident placing, levelling and finishing concrete to specification. You're comfortable working in a hands on environment and take pride in delivering quality outcomes.
You'll also bring:
- sound knowledge of concrete construction practices and the ability to safely perform manual tasks
- practical experience in labouring, construction or civil maintenance environments
- experience using tools and equipment relevant to concrete works
- the ability to work effectively as part of a crew and follow direction
- a strong commitment to safety,
quality and team outcomes
Requirements:
- A current Medium Rigid (MR) truck licence or higher
- A Construction Induction Card (White Card)
