Job Description

Effective Recruitment Pty Ltd Dhunna Jewellers, a family-run jewellery store in Dandenong, is looking for a Technical Sales Representative to manage client relationships and grow our trade and wholesale business. In this role, you'll build lists of prospective clients, visit existing and potential customers to find new sales opportunities, and recommend the right jewellery, gold, diamonds, or gemstones based on their needs.

Task & responsibilities

- Keep up to date on our jewellery range and on what competitors are selling, and how the market's moving.
- Visit existing and potential clients regularly to find and follow up on new sales opportunities.
- Talk to customers about what they need and recommend the right jewellery, gold, diamonds, or gemstones for them.
- Keep an eye on what customers want and what competitors are doing, and pass that on to management.
- Work out pricing and credit terms with clients, negotiate where needed, and get contracts and orders sorted properly.
- Organise delivery of goods, and any fitting, sizing, or after-sales service the customer needs.
- Report back to management on how sales are going and what's selling well.




- Check in with clients after a sale to make sure they're happy, and sort out any problems that come up.
- Keep sales reports up to date and keep track of business expenses.

Qualification & experience

- A qualification in sales, business, or marketing is a plus, but not a must if you've got the experience.
- Some background in sales, retail, technical sales, or business development.
- Good knowledge of jewellery, precious metals, and gemstones, or a willingness to learn quickly.
- Able to work independently, manage your own client list, and hit sales targets.
- Comfortable with numbers and record-keeping for quotes, invoices, and reports.
- A current driver's licence and your own car, since you'll be visiting clients

About Company Dhunna Jewellers is a family-run jewellery store based in Dandenong, selling gold, diamond, and gemstone pieces, along with custom design and repair work.

We've built up a loyal, multicultural customer base from our showroom on Lonsdale Street, and we sell to everyday customers as well as trade and wholesale buyers. As we keep growing that side of the business, we're looking for an experienced Technical Sales Representative to look after our clients, bring in new trade and wholesale business, and give customers good, honest advice on our products.

Work Type: Full time Salary: $75000-85000
