As their Tax Director, you'll become a trusted adviser responsible for shaping the family's tax strategy, managing complex domestic and international structures, and ensuring every commercial decision is supported by sound technical advice.

The Opportunity

Reporting directly to senior family stakeholders, you'll provide strategic tax leadership across a diverse and complex portfolio.

Working alongside leading legal, accounting and investment advisers, you'll oversee tax governance while identifying opportunities to optimise outcomes across a broad range of investments and business interests.

This is far more than a technical tax role.

The Role

You'll provide leadership across:

- Tax strategy for complex corporate, trust and investment structures
- Income tax, capital gains tax and indirect tax advisory
- Structuring new investments, acquisitions and divestments
- Tax planning across private wealth and family office operations
- Managing relationships with external advisers and regulatory bodies
- Identifying tax risks and developing practical commercial solutions
- Oversight of compliance across multiple entities
- Supporting investment decisions with commercially focused tax advice




- Monitoring legislative changes and advising on their impact
- Contributing to broader commercial and strategic decisions

About You

You'll be an accomplished tax leader with experience advising sophisticated private clients, family offices or large privately owned groups.

You may currently be a Director or Partner within a leading accounting or advisory firm, or a senior in-house tax executive looking for a genuinely unique prospect.

You’ll bring:

- CA qualification together with CTA or equivalent tax expertise
- Extensive experience across complex tax advisory
- Deep understanding of trusts, corporate structures and private wealth
- Strong knowledge of Australian taxation legislation
- Experience advising high-net-worth individuals or privately owned groups
- Exceptional commercial judgement
- Outstanding stakeholder management skills
- Absolute discretion, integrity and professionalism

Exposure to international tax, private equity, investment structures or family office environments will be highly regarded.
