IGA Glengala is looking for a Butcher Service Assistant to join our busy meat department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve customers at the meat counter with friendly, professional service
- Fill and maintain the poultry window
- Fill, rotate, and maintain the meat display to a high standard
- Ensure correct product presentation and stock levels
- Cleaning duties, including equipment and work areas
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous meat or supermarket experience preferred
- Reliable, hardworking, and team-focused
- Willingness to learn and follow procedures
- Flexible availability, including Casual, Full time and Part-time positions.
