We are looking for a Mobile Sanitation Technician to join our Thornlands team. This role suits someone who wants to earn well, work with valuable people and build real skill in a growing essential services business.

About The Role

Based from Thornlands, you will be on the road across SEQ completing scheduled sanitation services for customers across construction, civil, renovations, events, major infrastructure and hire industries.

You will drive between sites in a service truck, but this is not a plain transport role. You are being hired as a sanitation specialist who can learn the standard, own the details and represent Global Waste Services with pride.

The right person will enjoy being trusted to run their day while still knowing the team is behind them. Some days can be busy. Some sites can be messy. The standard stays the same.

What You Will Be Doing

- Complete scheduled mobile sanitation services safely, cleanly and professionally
- Drive between customer sites and operate your service vehicle with care
- Keep units, equipment and work areas clean, tidy and presentable
- Communicate clearly with dispatch, operations and customers when needed
- Follow safety, hygiene, manual-handling and site requirements every day

What You Will Bring

Essential:

- Current MR licence preferred but manual car licence is acceptable
- Reliability, punctuality and a great work ethic
- A money-motivated attitude backed by genuine effort and team spirit
- Pride in doing the job properly,



even when no one is watching
- Comfort with hands-on outdoor work, including getting in and out of the vehicle throughout the day
- Clear communication and a respectful approach with customers and the team
- Ability to follow safety, hygiene and site procedures
- White Card or willingness to obtain one

Helpful, but not essential:

- Waste, sanitation, hygiene, transport, field service or construction-site experience
- Experience operating service vehicles or working to scheduled site runs

- Mechanical awareness or confidence using practical equipment

Industry experience is valuable, but attitude, teamwork and willingness to learn matter just as much. Some of our strongest team members came from outside the industry and succeeded because they enjoyed a challenge, worked well in a team and took pride in learning the work.
