An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Site Manager to join our client's team. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and management of construction projects across Perth, WA.
The immediate need is for a $9M education project in the northern suburbs of Perth, approximately 20 minutes from the CBD.
Australian citizens and permanent residents are preferred for this position.
What You'll Be Doing
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.
- Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to address any issues or concerns that arise.
- Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and procedures to optimise efficiency and productivity.
- Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and resolving potential problems or risks.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Collaborate with the wider team to identify areas for process improvement and innovation.
What We're Looking For
- Substantial experience (5+ years) in a Site Manager or Senior Supervisor role within the construction industry, preferably with Head Supervisor experience.
- Experience specifically within commercial construction projects.
- Demonstrated experience managing commercial construction projects valued between $5M and $20M.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with a range of stakeholders.
- Proven track record of delivering construction projects on time and within budget.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools, including Procore and Breadcrumb. Training can be provided.
- Thorough knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and provide effective leadership.
- Trade or tertiary qualification is desirable.
