About the role
As aPeople & Culture Co-Ordinator,you’llplayanimportantrolein creating a positive,inclusiveand values-led workplace that supportsthe wider teamwho support young people. Working alongsidea passionate and collaborativePeople, Culture & Diversity team,you’llplay akey role inkeeping theemployee lifecycle running smoothly.
You’llprovide high-quality coordination and administrative support across a broad range of People & Culture functions, including:
- Maintainingaccurateemployee records and documentation in line with compliance requirements.
- Coordinatinglearning and development activitiesincluding,inductions,regulartrainingand the annualtrainingcalendar
- Acting as thekeyadministratorandsubject matter expert forEmployment Hero,maintainingaccurateemployee records, supporting users,troubleshootingand developing the system's capabilities
- Monitoring mandatory qualifications, WWCCs, Police Checks, licences,visasand other compliance requirements
- Supporting employee recognition and engagement initiatives, includingBurdekin'sShine Awardsand Culture Club
- Supporting reporting, people metrics, engagementsurveysand process improvement
- Providinggeneralsupporttothe overallPeople & Cultureteam includingrecruitment,workforceschedulingandgeneral employeequeries.
About you
You’resuperorganised,proactiveand people-focused, with a strong eye for detail.You’llbe comfortable juggling competing priorities, working independently and collaborating with employees and managers across the organisation.You’llenjoya team environment whereteam membersassisteach otherwhereverrequiredto meet the needs of the business.You’llbring:
- Demonstrated experience in an administrative role within aPeople & Culture/HR team
- Experience usingEmployment Hero or a similar HRIS
- Strong computer literacy in MS Office suite,teamsandSharePoint
- Knowledge of theFair Work Act, SCHADS Awardand relevant employment legislation
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communicationand interpersonal skills
- The ability to build positive relationships at all levels
- Discretion, soundjudgementand professional integrity
- The ability to manage confidential information
- A proactive, action-focused approach
- The ability toinitiateand co-ordinatemultipleprojects withinset guidelines.
- A genuine commitment to employee wellbeing and a positive workplace culture.Experience in thecommunity services sectorwill be highly regarded.
