About the Role

You will ideally have experience in civil maintenance and construction, particularly within the water and wastewater sectors. A strong work ethic, professionalism, and the ability to work safely and effectively as part of a team are essential. You will be expected to complete tasks efficiently while maintaining a respectful and customer-focused attitude.

What We Are Looking For

We are seeking experienced Civil Labourers and Machinary Operators with a background in civil plumbing. The ideal candidate brings strong technical skills, leadership qualities, and a proactive approach to safety and field operations.

Requirements:

- Previous experience as a labourer in a commercial or civil plumbing
- Current Driver’s Licence (essential)




- MR Truck Licence, Excavator Tickets, and White Card
- Working at Heights and Confined Spaces tickets (advantageous)
- Availability for regular on-call and after-hours rosters
- Willingness to travel across Regional Victoria and Melbourne
- Solid problem-solving skills and the ability to liaise with customers or the general public on site
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or in a team
- A strong commitment to safety

Key Responsibilities (Leading Hand)

- Plan and coordinate daily tasks for the crew
- Assess and rectify water and sewer faults within required timeframes
- Maintain clean and organised work areas, including vehicles
- Ensure compliance with all OHS requirements on site
- Complete tasks efficiently using the field mobility computer system
- Work in accordance with all relevant Work Procedures, Work Instructions, Safety Management Plans, Community Relations Plans, and Environmental Management Plans
