About the role

The TrafficManagement Design (TMD) and Integrated Management System (IMS)Technical Support Officer position will develop, implement andreview Traffic Management Plans and Traffic Guidance Schemes formaintenance activities and capital construction projects. Assist inthe coordination, implementation, maintenance and continualimprovement of the Infrastructure Services Group (ISG) quality,environmental and safety components of the IMS, risk assessments,awareness training and auditing.

About you

- Traffic ManagementDesign (QLD) qualification (or obtained within 6 months ofcommencement).
- Quality Auditorqualifications (or obtained within 12 months ofcommencement).
- WHSCompetency (White Card) for CPCWHS1001 – Prepare to work safelyin the construction industry,



or equivalent (or a willingnessto obtain prior to commencement).
- Working in Proximityto Traffic Awareness Part 1 and 2 (or a willingness to obtainwithin 3 months of commencement).
- Experience in thefield of implementing integrated quality, environmental andsafety management systems.
- Understanding of andcommitment to Council’s Organisational Values andBehaviours.

Thepreferred candidate will be required to undertake a CriminalHistory Check and a pre-employment medical assessment to assesstheir ability to perform the genuine occupational requirements ofthe position.
