What you’ll be doing
- Conducting comprehensive speech and language assessments for children
- Developing and implementing individualised therapy plans to address a wide range of communication and swallowing disorders
- Collaborating with families, teachers, and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic, patient-centred care
- Maintaining detailed clinical records and participating in multidisciplinary team meetings
- Continuously seeking opportunities for professional development and growth
- Option to work with green spaces, farm activities and animal assisted therapy programs.
What we’re looking for
- Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Speech Pathology or equivalent qualification
- Registration with Speech Pathology Australia
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families
- Passion for providing high-quality,
evidence-based speech and language therapy
- Flexibility, adaptability, and a willingness to learn and grow within the role
- NDIS worker screening and Working with Children checks must be obtained before start date
