We are seeking an experienced Graphic Designer to join a leading Queensland Government organisation supporting stakeholder and community engagement initiatives across North Queensland. This role will play a key part in delivering high quality visual communications that support major infrastructure and transport projects, helping to inform, engage and connect communities through creative and accessible content. This is an excellent prospect to contribute to high-profile regional programs, working across graphic design, digital communications, social media, publications, video production and stakeholder engagement activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and deliver highquality graphic design solutions across print, digital and video channels.
- Produce a range of communication materials including brochures, newsletters, publications, presentations, maps and social media content.
- Transform complex information into engaging and accessible visual communications.
- Provide advice on branding, visual communication and creative best practice.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to deliver strategic communication outcomes.
- Manage multiple projects and competing priorities to meet deadlines and quality standards.
- Coordinate external suppliers including printers, photographers, videographers and illustrators.
- Ensure all deliverables align with accessibility requirements and corporate brand guidelines.

About You

You are a creative and highly organised Graphic Designer with experience delivering engaging visual communication solutions in a fast-paced environment. You have advanced capability across graphic design,



publishing and video production and can confidently manage multiple priorities while producing high quality creative outcomes.

Most importantly, you bring strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop and Premiere Pro, along with the Microsoft Office Suite, and can leverage these tools to create impactful communications across print, digital and video channels.

Essential Experience

- Demonstrated experience delivering graphic design solutions across print, digital and multimedia channels.
- Advanced proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop and Premiere Pro.
- Experience working within established brand guidelines.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Understanding of accessibility principles, including WCAG requirements.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.

Highly Regarded

- 5+ years' experience in graphic design, visual communication or a related discipline.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent industry experience.
- Experience working within government or large corporate environments.
- Knowledge of Queensland Government policies and processes.
