Reporting to the National Operations Manager in this fast-paced environment, you will be responsible for providing day-to-day leadership, coaching and operational oversight for the Settlement Support Team. The position balances hands-on Settlement Administration with responsibility for team performance, workflow allocation, capability development and service excellence. Specifically this involves:
- Allocating daily workload and monitoring team performance to ensure timely completion of settlements and lodgements
- Overseeing and supporting management of shared communication channels, ensuring correspondence is actioned promptly
- Continuously reviewing and improving operational processes to drive efficiency and scalability
- Overseeing quality and accuracy of post-nonconditional settlement tasks including adjustments, transfer preparation, stamping and cheque directions
- Acting as an escalation point for complex matters or client concern
- Providing day-to-day coaching, guidance and operational support to Settlement Support Officers
- Supporting recruitment, onboarding and training of current team members
- Identifying skill gaps and coordinating training
- Modelling exceptional client service standards
- Supporting the team in resolving difficult client situations
- Partnering with key clients to understand needs, identify improvement opportunities and strengthen long-term relationships
- Maintaining a reduced but active settlement file load to stay close to operational realities and support peak periods

Offices are in the CBD and this permanent full time position offers 2 days per week WFH. Salary guide is $90,000 - $100,000 + Super depending on experience and standard hours are 8.30am to 5.00pm.
