A major transport infrastructure project (valued at
more than $1 billion) is underway across South East Queensland,
delivering complex rail and station works in a brownfield
environment integrated with operational assets. The head contractor
is seeking a Project Engineer to own the delivery of complex,
multidisciplinary station packages. You'll manage subcontractors,
budgets, programs and quality, with responsibility for design,
constructability, testing, commissioning and handover in a
challenging live-asset environment. Indigenous Business Growth

infrastructure, construction and major project recruitment. We
partner closely with contractors, engineering consultancies and
delivery organisations to place high quality technical
professionals. Our approach is relationship led and commercially
grounded, built on practical industry experience and a clear
understanding of how complex projects are delivered. Key
Responsibilities Own multidisciplinary station package delivery
including scope, cost, schedule and quality Manage key
subcontractors and coordinate design, construction and
commissioning Review engineering designs for constructability and
compliance Coordinate site inspection, testing and commissioning
activities Manage package interfaces with adjacent works and
operations Monitor and control costs, schedule and quality metrics
Prepare and maintain construction documentation and as-built
records Participate in project assurance activities and handover
dossier compilation Support safe work planning and risk management
Escalate emerging issues and propose practical solutions What We're
Looking For Bachelor's degree in civil, structural, mechanical,
electrical or building-services engineering 5-8 years' project
engineering experience At least one station, rail, airport or
complex public building project of $100m+ Experience delivering
multidisciplinary packages in brownfield environments Subcontractor
management and cost/schedule control expertise Testing,
commissioning and handover experience 2+ years' average tenure per
employer with at least one project engineering role held for 2+
years Current construction induction card and ability to obtain
rail competencies Robust technical knowledge across structural,
architectural and services disciplines Leadership and team
collaboration skills
