Mental Health Clinician - MH Supports in Residential Aged Care Hornsby
This is a full-time opportunity, fixed term until 30 June 2027, based in North Sydney area.
The Mental health clinician will lead short term, evidence based mental health support for older people in residential aged care facilities. They will complete assessments, formulations and deliver therapy, partnering with the person, families and staff. Care will be coordinated within an integrated hub team, reporting to the Service Manager.

Skills & Experience
- Holds current AHPRA registration as a Psychologist or Provisional Psychologist, Clinical Psychologist, Aboriginal Health Worker, Credentialed Mental Health Nurse, or Occupational Therapist (accredited with OTA as meeting the Australian Competency Standards for occupational therapists in mental health), or accreditation (or working towards)
with the AASW as a Mental Health Social Worker OR Current clinical registration as a PACFA Mental Health Practitioner and have demonstrated they meet PACFA's Mental Health Competencies OR Current Level 3 or 4 membership with ACA
- Has experience in undertaking comprehensive mental health assessments and development of intervention plans in collaboration with consumers and their family and carers.
- Has demonstrated skills and experience in providing holistic, evidence-based therapeutic services
