We're seeking an experienced Delivery Manager to lead our Professional Services function and help shape the next phase of growth for the business. This is an opportunity to lead a multidisciplinary team of consultants, project managers and developers while driving delivery excellence across a diverse portfolio of customer engagements.
About the role
As Delivery Manager, you'll be responsible for leading the successful delivery of customer projects, consulting services, software development activities, continuous improvement initiatives and other chargeable customer services.
You’ll play a key leadership role within Pronto Woven, ensuring the right people are working on the right priorities, customer outcomes are achieved, delivery risks are proactively managed, commercial objectives are met, and delivery teams have the support and direction needed to succeed.
This is a hands‑on leadership position combining people leadership, delivery governance, resource management and commercial oversight. You’ll work closely with customer‑facing teams, support, development, product and sales to deliver successful customer outcomes and help evolve our delivery capability.
What you’ll be doing
Lead Pronto Woven's Professional Services function across consulting, project delivery and technical delivery activities.
Lead, coach and develop a multidisciplinary team of project managers, consultants and developers, including performance management, capability development, succession planning and employee wellbeing.
Support recruitment, onboarding and development activities to build and maintain a high‑performing Professional Services team.
Oversee delivery priorities, resource allocation, capacity planning and utilisation.
Ensure projects and customer engagements are delivered in line with scope, budget, timelines and customer expectations.
Drive delivery governance, reporting, accountability and consistent delivery practices across the Professional Services function.
Support project scoping, estimation, planning and commercial decision‑making.
Work closely with Customer Solutions, Support, Product and Development teams to ensure successful customer outcomes.
Identify and proactively manage delivery, customer and commercial risks.
Lead customer escalations and support complex customer engagements where required.
Develop team capability through coaching, mentoring, succession planning and knowledge sharing.
Improve forecasting, utilisation, reporting, operational visibility and commercial performance across the Professional Services function.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance delivery effectiveness, customer experience and team performance.
Contribute to strategic planning, organisational development and the ongoing growth and maturity of the Pronto Woven delivery organisation.
What you’ll bring
Proven experience leading Skilled Services, Delivery, Consulting or Customer Delivery teams.
Strong background in project delivery, consulting, software implementation or digital services.
Demonstrated experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
Demonstrated experience leading, coaching and developing teams, including performance management and succession planning.
Strong commercial acumen, including experience managing utilisation, WIP, invoicing, delivery budgets and profitability.
Experience managing multiple customer engagements and competing priorities.
Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build trusted relationships with customers and internal teams.
Experience leading customer escalations and navigating complex delivery challenges.
A collaborative leadership style with a passion for coaching and developing people.
Excellent communication, planning and organisational skills.
A continuous improvement mindset and a desire to build scalable delivery practices.
Nice to have
Experience in ERP, ecommerce, digital transformation or software implementation environments.
Experience leading consulting and development teams within a Professional Services organisation.
Exposure to resource planning, forecasting and delivery governance frameworks.
Experience working with ERP-integrated ecommerce solutions, digital platforms or customer engagement technologies.
Familiarity with Agile, hybrid or traditional project delivery methodologies.
Experience in client‑facing consulting or advisory roles.

Pronto Software is currently operating from a temporary location in Mulgrave (due to works in our Forest Hill office). The successful candidate should expect to relocate their office location from Mulgrave to Forest Hill in the future.
