National Skills Institute (RTO #22528) has a strong reputation in the delivery of nationally recognised qualifications for workers in the Civil Construction industry.

We are seeking an experienced Compliance and Resources Officer to join our team at our Keilor East office, reporting directly to the CEO.

Position Summary

The Compliance and Resources Officer provides support to the CEO to ensure on-going compliance in the delivery of workplace training and assessment as well as reviewing and maintaining quality systems.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Assist the CEO in the conduct of internal audits.

Assist in the preparation for external audits.

Assist in the development, implementation and maintenance all learning and assessment material, including support material, and ensure it meets the requirements of the relevant Acts and Authorities.

Apply industry consultation to material development.

Assist in the review and maintenance of document and legislation registers as well as trainer/assessor matrices and files

Ensure training and assessment evidence is received, reviewed and processed in pre-determined timelines and is accurate.

Provide development support and advice to trainer/assessors on quality evidence collection.





Participate in validation and moderation on existing learning and assessment materials with trainer/assessors to determine opportunities for improvement and contextualisation.

Building and maintaining relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders.

Maintain student files and evidence as per record keeping requirements.

Other duties as requested by the CEO.

Essential requirements for the role:

Have and maintain an understanding of the VET Sector and the 2025 Standards for RTO’s.

Must have attention to detail to identify non-compliances.

Must be aware of training packaging rules to ensure accurate and compliant issuance of awards.

Maintain the Quality Assurance processes and participate in any audits, either internal or external.

Ensure National Training Contract delivery for Trainees/Apprentices in compliance with the requirements of the relevant government conditions.

Highly desirable for the role:

TAE40116 Certificate IV or its successor, equivalent or higher qualification

Civil construction knowledge, experience and/or qualifications

Previous experience with Victorian Funding Contracts

Salary will reflect your qualifications, experience and proven history working in a similar role. Thisis a full time position.
