Northern Health are seeking applications from dedicated and suitably experienced Clinical/Health Psychologists or Neuropsychologists to join the progressive and collegial Allied Health Psychology Department. This role offers an exciting opportunity to hone your knowledge and skills in evidence-based practice with people experiencing chronic disease or complex health issues. In this role, you can help improve health outcomes for vulnerable people in our community.

Northern Health is the major provider of acute, maternity, sub-acute, mental health, specialist, community and home-based services in Melbourne’s rapidly growing outer north.

Services are provided through our six main campuses:

Northern Hospital Epping, Broadmeadows Hospital, Bundoora Centre, Craigieburn and Mernda Community Hospitals and Kilmore District Hospital. In addition, Mental Health Services are provided at Epping, Broadmeadows, Jacana, Preston, Mill Park, Mernda and Coburg.

About the Role:

The role will involve:

- Working in the outpatient Hospital Admission Risk Program
- Providing evidence-based psychological assessment and treatment
- Multidisciplinary collaboration and consultation





This is a Grade 3 ongoing part time(0.42EFT,32hours per fortnight) position, however suitably experienced Grade 2 Psychologists arealsoencouraged to apply.

To be successful in this role you will have:

- An enthusiastic,adaptableand collaborative style
- Registration as a Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience inprovidingevidence-based intervention and assessment withinpublic health and/or with people with chronic or complex health conditions
