As Store Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the store, ensuring smooth operations, excellent customer service, and robust team performance. This is a leadership role suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced retail environment.
Key responsibilities
Lead, motivate and support the store team to deliver outstanding customer service
Oversee daily store operations, ensuring the store is clean, organised and fully stocked
Manage staff rosters, attendance and daily task allocation
Recruit, train and develop team members
Monitor team performance and provide coaching and feedback
Ensure shelves are re-stocked and merchandise is presented to a high standard
Manage inventory, stock ordering, stock rotation (FIFO), and stocktake processes
Minimise stock loss through effective inventory control
Handle customer enquiries, complaints and resolve issues professionally
Monitor store sales and identify opportunities to improve performance
Manage 1 on 1's with staff
About you
1–3 years' experience in a management or supervisory role
Strong leadership and communication skills
Excellent organisational and time management abilities
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritise tasks
A proactive, hands-on approach with strong problem-solving skills
Confidence using POS systems and basic computer software
Availability to work weekends and public holidays as required
