Millthorpe Pharmacy is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Retail Manager to join our team in Millthorpe, NSW. This is a part-time position offering flexibility whilst maintaining responsibility for the day-to-day operations and strategic direction of our retail pharmacy. As Pharmacy Retail Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving customer satisfaction, staff performance, and business growth whilst maintaining the highest standards of pharmaceutical care and regulatory compliance. Key responsibilities
- Manage the daily operations of the pharmacy retail environment, including stock management, inventory control, and supplier relationships
- Lead, motivate, and develop the pharmacy team, providing training, support, and performance management to ensure excellent customer service standards
- Oversee customer service and dispensing operations to ensure compliance with all pharmaceutical and retail regulations
- Monitor financial performance, including sales targets, budgeting, and cost control measures
- Implement and maintain visual merchandising and store presentation standards to enhance the customer shopping experience
- Manage scheduling and roster planning to optimise staffing levels and ensure adequate coverage
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, including Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) requirements and pharmacy regulations
- Contribute to marketing initiatives and promotional activities to drive footfall and sales growth
What we're looking for
- Proven retail management experience, preferably within a pharmacy or healthcare retail setting
- Must be able to Dispense scripts with webster packing a bonus
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff
- Excellent customer service orientation and ability to create a welcoming pharmacy environment
- Knowledge of pharmacy operations, including dispensing systems, stock management, and regulatory requirements
- Demonstrated organisational and administrative capability with robust attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work flexibly and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
