Senior Integration Developer (Boomi & Apigee) Experience: 8-12 years Location: Sydney, NSW, Australia Must-Have Skills Hands-on with Boomi AtomSphere Platform Apigee API management experience Core connector integration proficiency Data mapping and transformation OpenAPI standard design skills Web service protocol familiarity Security protocol implementation knowledge Official Boomi developer certification Good-to-Have Skills Boomi Flow module experience Java and JavaScript scripting Cloud platform environmental exposure Job Description Solid hands-on experience with the Boomi AtomSphere Platform, including process design, deployment, error handling, and debugging. Proficient in designing and building integrations using Boomi connectors such as HTTP, Database, FTP/SFTP, Salesforce, and cloud application connectors. Skilled in data integration, including data mapping, transformation, validation, and routing. Solid understanding of integration patterns (request-reply, publish-subscribe, event-driven architecture)
and technologies including REST, SOAP, and webhooks. Proficient in API design and development using OpenAPI (Swagger) standards. Familiar with web service protocols (XML, JSON, SOAP, REST) and tools for testing and documentation. Experience with API management platforms, particularly Apigee as the primary API management layer. Experienced with Boomi API Management and Boomi Flow (optional) for building and managing APIs and low-code workflows. Collaborate with architects and participate in design discussions Understanding security protocols and practices such as OAuth2.0, SAML, JWT, and SSL/TLS. Programming/scripting knowledge in Java and JavaScript to extend integration functionality. Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and cloud-native integration scenarios. Boomi certification (Associate or Professional Developer) is highly desirable.
