About the Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly skilled Hazardous Area Engineer to join the team supporting clients across manufacturing, renewables and utilities.
You will act as the technical reference point for the Engineering team on hazardous area matters, review classification and design deliverables prepared by others,
and build hazardous area capability across the wider team.
This position offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects, collaborating with teams across the Sentra Group to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
What We’re Looking for:
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
Minimum 3 years’ hazardous area experience, including demonstrated experience originating hazardous area classifications as the responsible engineer
Strong understanding of Australian Standards
Experience with AutoCAD Electrical, PowerCAD, ETAP, SKM, or similar software is highly regarded
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
The ability to work independently in office and collaboratively within a team
A proactive mindset with strong attention to detail
