You’llbe instrumental in helping privately-owned businesses confidently navigate complex tax environments. As a Senior Associate, Private Business (Business Tax), you will provide customised tax advisory and compliance services, supporting clients ranging from family enterprises and partnerships toprivately-heldcompanies.

Whatyou’lldo:
- Develop andmaintainstrong relationships with a portfolio ofprivate businessclients, understanding their unique taxneeds,andprovidingtailored advice.
- Ensure clients meet their tax obligations by preparing and reviewing tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with current regulations.
- Advise clients on tax-efficient strategies tooptimizetheir tax positions, including succession planning, mergers and acquisitions, and reorganization.
- Stay updated with the latest tax laws and regulations,conductin-depth research to provide clients with informed guidance.
- Mentor and support junior staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance team workplace.
- Identifypotential tax risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, protecting clients’ interests.
- Provide updates to clients on tax-related issues, helping them stay informed about changes in tax legislation.
- Provide tax compliance, taxplanningand tax advisory services for large client groups with multiple types of entities including trusts, companies,partnershipand individuals;
- Assistclients with tax related services foracquiringbusinesses such as tax due diligence, reviewing tax sections of purchase agreements and the process of implementing theacquiredentities such as tax consolidation calculations and stub period tax returns;
