Full-time Vegetation Field Worker positions

Key responsibilities

Mechanical Slashing: Operating heavy-duty brush cutters, commercial mowers, and slashing equipment.

Herbicide Application: Handling, mixing, and spraying chemicals safely along fence lines and rail borders to halt invasive weed growth.

Debris Removal: Clearing fallen branches, green waste, and obstacles from station precincts and track perimeters.

About you

White Card (General Construction Induction): Mandatory for entering any active asset or infrastructure maintenance site.

ChemCert (AQF3 Chemical Accreditation):



Required by law to handle and apply commercial-grade weed sprays and herbicides safely. Workzone can provide training.

Manual Driver's Licence: Essential to legally drive the supplied company utility vehicle across different sites.

TLIF0020 (Safely Work in the Rail Corridor) – Workzone can provide training.

Stable Employment: Permanent, full time hours providing predictable income and long-term career stability.

Provided Work Vehicle: A company vehicle is supplied, meaning zero out-of-pocket costs for fuel, maintenance, or traveling between job sites.
