In addition the Australian team works very closely with theenergy team in the Asian region and the role will involve theopportunity to work with regional teams on APAC transactions.
As an integral member of our team, you should expect to work onvarious projects across the energy, infrastructure and governmentsectors across a range of local, regional and cross borderprojects. The key responsibilities and requirements for this role are asfollows:
Responsibilities
- Advising on and draft a range of project documentationincluding power purchase agreements, connection agreements,services and development agreements.
- Working on a number of energy projects for projectsponsors, financiers and large energy users nationally.
- Coordinating due diligence for greenfield and brownfieldprojects, financing and acquisitions.
- Manage work streams on large domestic and internationalprojects.
- Liaise with clients on consents, amendments and projectdelivery issues as they arise.
- Assist with business development and marketinginitiatives.
- Delegation and supervision of work and junior teammembers.
Requirements
- 4-8 years PQE gained within an energy / projects practiceand or in-house.
- Strong experience of offtake and power purchase agreementsand knowledge of the Australian PPA market.
- Possess a growth mindset and are commercial, solutionfocussed, creative and passionate about delivering the energytransition.
- Experience assisting on a range of matters across theinfrastructure, energy and government sector.
- Excellent analytical, drafting and communicationskills.
- Strong time management & organisational skills with thecapacity to manage multiple projects and conflicting prioritiessimultaneously.
