The Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Recruitment Advisor to join our team and play a key role in building and nurturing a high-quality talent pipeline to support current demand and future growth.
This is a full time position, although we would consider part-time for the right candidate.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering consistent, structured and high-quality recruitment outcomes across the business, while ensuring a strong candidate experience and supporting continuous improvement in how we attract and select talent.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience recruiting technical professionals, ideally within a white-collar mining or mining services environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate end-to-end recruitment activities across the AMPS business (Australia and North America) to ensure a consistent, structured and effective approach to hiring.
- Partner with Consulting Managers and leaders to understand workforce needs and support role definition, including position descriptions and selection criteria.
- Build and maintain proactive talent pipelines aligned to business demand and future capability requirements.
- Deliver a high standard of candidate care, ensuring clear communication, professionalism and follow-through throughout the recruitment process.
- Ensure recruitment processes, documentation and systems are accurate, current and well managed.
- Support the effective use of recruitment tools and platforms, including LinkedIn Recruiter and job boards.
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of recruitment practices, processes and standards as the business grows.
- Provide general HR support as required, particularly in relation to recruitment and onboarding activities.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a recruiter in the technical services space.
- Minimum of 5+ years of recruitment experience is required for this role.
- Demonstrated ability to recruit for technical professional roles in a competitive market.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with leaders across the business.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,
with a focus on professionalism and candidate experience.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- High attention to detail and a practical, solutions-focused approach.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
- Experience in HR advisory or generalist HR support will be well regarded.
- Must be an Australian permanent resident or citizen.
