Sydney Local Health District (SLHD) is seeking an experienced Visiting Medical Officer in Diagnostic Radiology to join our team at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital.

We are looking for a Visiting Medical Officer in Diagnostic Radiology. The primary purpose of the role is to provide high quality diagnostic and consultative specialty services in Diagnostic Radiology and to participate in teaching, research, quality improvement and administrative activities within the Radiology Department and Hospital as required.

In addition to participating in provision of Diagnostic Radiology, the Visiting Medical Officer may be involved in subspecialty Radiology (depending on training and experience) in areas such as abdomen, cardiac, neurological, musculoskeletal, breast and/or Tier A Interventional Radiology.

The Visiting Medical Officer will ensure a high standard of professional performance and encouragement of an academic environment which supports education, research and professional development.

Medical practitioner, currently registered or eligible for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Applicants must have Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Radiologists (FRANZCR) with recognised qualifications in Diagnostic Radiology and/or other equivalent specialist recognition.

Positions are currently available. In addition, applicants expecting to be awarded their Fellowship within two months from date of application, may be considered.

Salary and conditions are in accordance with the NSW Public Hospitals Visiting Medical Officer Determination.
