Senior FP&A; Analyst | $160,000 Package + Bonus | High Growth Business

Our client is a highly regarded, large and complex Australian organisation that has experienced significant growth in recent years. With this growth has come increased investment in its finance function and a clear mandate to further enhance its financial planning, budgeting and commercial decision-support capability.

This newly created Senior Analyst position will sit within a high-calibre finance team and partner closely with senior finance and operational stakeholders. The role will have a strong FP&A; and commercial focus, supporting budgeting and forecasting, financial modelling, performance analysis and business decision-making.

The Challenge

Reporting into a Head Of Finance, key responsibilities will include:

- Supporting the development, coordination and communication of budgets and forecasts
- Providing insightful analysis of financial performance, including understanding and communicating key drivers of variances
- Partnering with cost centre owners,



project managers and other non-finance stakeholders to support better commercial decision-making
- Providing financial analysis across both operating and capital expenditure
- Supporting financial modelling, scenario analysis and business cases
- Identifying opportunities to improve business performance, productivity and resource utilisation
- Delivering ad hoc financial analysis, modelling and reporting as required
- Driving continuous improvement across finance processes, analytics, automation and BI reporting

The Expertise:

Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:

- Degree qualified in Accounting, Finance, Business, Commerce or a related discipline
- Approximately 5+ years’ experience within finance, ideally across FP&A;, commercial finance, management accounting or business partnering
- CA, CPA or CFA qualification, or currently studying towards one, will be highly regarded
- Strong budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling and scenario analysis experience
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to partner effectively with non-finance stakeholders
- Strong analytical capability, attention to detail and ability to operate effectively in a rapid-paced and complex environment
