Are you an experienced youth services practitioner who is passionate about developing others and improving outcomes for children and young people?
Cafs is seeking an Advanced Practitioner - Youth Case Management & Better Futures to lead and strengthen practice, provide mentoring and deliver specialist support across our Youth Services programs. This is an exciting opportunity to influence practice, build capability and support teams delivering life-changing services to young people in out-of-home care and those transitioning to independence.
Working closely with the Team Leader, you'll play a key role in strengthening practice across both the Youth Case Management and Better Futures programs.
You will:
- Provide practice leadership, mentoring and live supervision to Youth Case Managers and Better Futures Practitioners.
- Support staff working with young people experiencing complex challenges and care needs.
- Facilitate reflective practice, case reviews and group supervision.
- Partner with TBRI practitioners to embed therapeutic, trauma-informed approaches across the team.
- Build strong relationships with Child Protection and key stakeholders to support positive outcomes for young people.
- Support reporting, compliance, quality improvement and audit activities.
- Maintain a small caseload of complex matters where required.
- Contribute to workforce development, continuous improvement and service excellence.
- Act in the Team Leader role when required.
