Location: Remote Duration: 8 weeks About the Opportunity The
European Institute of Policy Research and Human Rights is a
prestigious institution offering advanced online programs aimed at
nurturing future leaders in policy research, human rights, and
allied disciplines. One of our missions is to deliver
skill-enhancement programs to candidates across the globe,
empowering them with the knowledge and competencies required to
shape public policy and drive meaningful change within their
communities. The European Institute of Policy Research and Human
Rights AISBL invites applications for a remote Policy Research –
Trainee . This is designed for students, graduates, early-career
researchers, and professionals interested in policy research, human
rights, governance, international relations, law, public policy,
and related fields. Selected candidates will work under structured
guidance and supervision to develop research, analytical writing,
and policy drafting skills which involves literature review, policy
analysis, preparation of research notes, and drafting of a
supervised research paper, policy brief, or analytical report. The
programme consists of two stages: Weeks 1–4: Research Methodology
Training- Participants undertake structured learning in research
methodology, literature review, academic and policy writing,
citation practices, research ethics, and related research skills.
Weeks 5–8: Supervised Research and Writing- Participants apply the
methodology learned during the first phase to an approved research
topic and prepare a research paper, policy brief, or analytical
report under structured guidance and supervision. Prior research
publication experience is not required . Key
Responsibilities-Training and Research Activities Selected
candidates will be expected to: Selected participants will: Conduct
a literature review on an approved policy, legal, human rights,
governance, international relations, or related topic. Develop
research summaries, issue notes, and analytical briefs. Participate
in online research guidance and supervision sessions, where
applicable. Apply appropriate research methodology and citation
standards. Prepare a supervised research paper, policy brief, or
analytical report. Revise research work based on academic and
supervisory feedback. Follow ethical research, originality,
citation, and academic-integrity requirements. Complete agreed
research milestones within the eight-week programme period.
Eligibility Criteria Applicants may include: Bachelor's, Master's,
or Doctoral students. Recent graduates or alumni from recognized
universities. Early-career professionals with an interest in
research and policy analysis. Candidates from law, human rights,
international relations, political science, public policy,
governance, social sciences, management, business, economics,
education, environmental studies, medicine, engineering, or related
disciplines. Applicants should have: Positive written English. Interest
in policy research, human rights, governance, law, or related
areas. Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Ability to meet deadlines. Willingness to follow research
methodology and supervisor feedback. Prior research publication
experience is not mandatory, Selected candidates will undergo a
four-week methodology learning/training program, followed by a
four-week research writing phase. How to Apply- Applications are

this is an unpaid, self-funded learning (ProgramFee applies to
cover the structured methodology training, research guidance,
supervision, and related programme activities.) No-stipend, salary,
remuneration will be provided during or upon completion of the

with further information regarding the program structure/fee,
internship format, schedule, supervision process, expectations, and
