This position involves providing outpatient and clinic-based primary care services in a correctional facility for adult patients. The clinician will manage a caseload of 5-8 patients daily, addressing injury management, acute illnesses, follow-ups, physicals, chronic care, urgent care, and minor procedures.
Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive primary care, perform minor procedures, and manage complex chronic conditions. Work within structured clinical workflows tailored for correctional healthcare, ensuring consistent and quality patient care.
Qualifications & Skills:
Board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine (negotiable), valid Washington state license, DEA registration, BLS certification, COVID vaccination, and prescriptive authority. Credentialing is estimated at 1-2 weeks.
Work Details:
Work either four 10-hour shifts or Monday to Friday, with no call required. The facility is in office, supporting adult patients in a secure environment.
