Aboutthe role
This rolesits within the City Works Department in the City Futures Directorate and leadsthe administration support function across multiple service areas includingCivil Maintenance, Building Maintenance, Fleet Services, Waste Services andCleansing.
As the Team Leader Administration Support,you will provide leadership, coordination and continuous improvement ofadministrative services to ensure efficient, high-quality support across thedepartment. You will oversee a small team of administration staff, supportoperational leaders and the Manager City Works, and act as a central point forbusiness support, reporting, recruitment processes, and customer serviceoutcomes.

To be successful in this role, you willdemonstrate:
- Proven experienceleading and developing teams to achieve business outcomes
- Strong expertise inbusiness support and office management functions within a complex organisation
- Highly developedinterpersonal, communication, negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills
- Advanced computerliteracy and experience with business systems and records management
- Ability to managecompeting priorities, tight timeframes and changing demands
- A strong customerservice focus with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
- Sound judgement,organisational skills and the ability to lead continuous improvementinitiatives.
You will be a collaborative and adaptableleader who can build strong relationships, influence outcomes, and maintainhigh standards of professionalism, integrity and accountability.
