Administration Manager (Surgical and Critical Care)
The Administration Manager for our Operational Divisions provides expert, technical and risk assessment advice to Executive, Managers and staff to ensure that the administrative service delivery is aligned to business goals and Gold Coast Health direction.
The Role
An opportunity has become available for an Administration Manager (Surgical and Critical Care) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 14 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
- Actively contribute to the financial management of all administration within the Division
- Support the successful completion of projects in a complex clinical environment
- Lead and promote the transformation of workplace efficiencies and digital modernisation
- Develop and communicate service delivery information to large teams of administration staff
About you
To be successful in this position you will require:
- A relevant qualification would be well regarded
- Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella and Pertussis
- Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be requiredDeclaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
- Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

- Base salary ranging from $125,607 - $134,548 per annum

People and Operations is responsible for steering Gold Coast Hospital and Health Services strategy to improve Hospital and Health service performance through its people and key support systems.
Administrative Services provide a range of administrative support across all facilities.
This position will lead Administration Services within Surgical and Critical Care Specialities across GCHHS sites including Gold Coast University Hospital, Robina Hospital, Varsity Lakes and Southport Health Precinct by implementing unit, divisional and Health Service Strategies.
