Bathurst Health Service is seeking Locum FACEMs and Emergency Medicine Registrars to assist with upcoming Emergency Department roster gaps.

There are a range of day, evening and night shifts available, including FACEM in-charge, non-in-charge and Registrar shifts. This is a great opportunity for doctors seeking flexible ED locum work across August, September, October and early November.

Clinical Environment:

- Emergency Department role at Bathurst Health Service
- FACEM and Registrar shifts available
- Day, mid, evening and night shifts available
- In-charge and non-in-charge options depending on role and roster

Key Duties:

- Assess and manage Emergency Department presentations
- Support patient flow and clinical decision‑making
- Provide in‑charge or non‑in‑charge cover as rostered
- Complete documentation and handover
- Escalate care appropriately when required
- Work collaboratively with the ED team and wider hospital staff

Eligibility Criteria:

- Current AHPRA Registration
- FACEM or recent Emergency Medicine Registrar experience
- Current ALS Certificate




- Verified NSW Working with Children Check
- Strong clinical judgement and communication skills
- Ability to work safely within scope and escape appropriately
- Current CV, references and compliance documents as required
